SAT Strategies

One of the strongest habits a person can develop in pursuit of a higher SAT score and college success is reading.

A successful person will begin reading everything they can get their hands on and not just fun reading but reading that will improve them.

It doesn't matter how good a reader you are, what matters is that you read. The more you read and the longer you read the better you will get at reading. So if you want success, READ!

SAT Strategies

"Vocabulary enables us to interpret and to express. If you have a limited vocabulary, you will also have a limited vision and a limited future."--Jim Rohn

One of the first things you need to do, if you are serious about doing well on the SAT or the ACT, is improve your vocabulary.

A great way to do that is by joining a word-a-day email list. You receive a different word each day with the pronunciation, definition and how to use the new word.

Now, practice using the new word during the day for reinforcement.
